North West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 1-year-old daughter, may be a tot still but she’s definitely a fashionable one. So intent is her mama on transforming her into a fashion icon ASAP that she already has her own personal tailor and stylist.
That’s right, little Nori might still be in diapers but her mother’s making sure they’re dressed up only in designer clothes – that match her own, no less.

At Paris Fashion Week a few days ago, it became crystal clear that Kim would only be styling her daughter to look like a mini-version of herself from then on. From dressing her up in see-through clothes or full-leather outfits, Kim made no secret of her aspiration of seeing her tiny child become a fashion icon.
It was only logical for her next step to be that of getting someone to oversee Nori’s wardrobe choices. It sounds weird to speak of these when we’re talking about a baby who’s only 16 months old, but with Kim, nothing is impossible.
According to inside source speaking to the British media, this new staffer must make sure that Nori’s outfits always match Kim’s.
“Kim has hired North her own personal tailor whose sole job is to make mini versions of Kim’s designer outfits and ensure that they always coordinate,” the tipster shares.
Where’s Kanye in all this?
If you’re wondering if all this is happening behind Kanye’s back, probably when he’s away working on his music career, wonder no more. The same source claims that the rapper is fully involved in this process of transforming his daughter into nothing short of a living doll, a smaller replica of her famous mom.
And everything is well planned in advance, nothing is left to chance.
“The tailor, who is also paid to act as North’s stylist, works with Kanye and Kim’s styling team to create the toddler’s looks. Some are collaborations or commissions to designers themselves, and others created in-house. Her wardrobe is planned well in advance with regular meetings to discuss looks for the family’s public appearances, and North has versions to match a lot of what Kim wears, from dresses to handbags and shoes,” the tipster explains.
Kanye has always had high fashion aspirations and even proclaimed himself one of the true and few fashionistas around (he actually claimed to have “invented” leather jeggings, but he never bothered to explain how he came to this conclusion), so perhaps it’s not that surprising to learn that he too is involved.
Isn’t this too much for a toddler?
Why, yes, it is. Then again, this is Kim and Kanye’s money and they have the right to spend it as they see fit.
However, that’s not the biggest issue with Nori having her own stylist and tailor, or Kim’s aspirations of turning her into a fashion icon at such an early age by dressing her up in clothes that must be uncomfortable for a grown woman, let alone a child.
The problem, as photos snapped at Paris Fashion Week seemed to prove, is that Nori hates every second of it when her mom drags her out, dresses her up and forces her to pose for the paparazzi. Kim is exposing Nori to a world that’s both good and bad, but mostly bad for an impressionable kid, and all for the sake of her fashion “dreams.”
