Kim Kardashian thinks so highly of herself that she probably didn’t imagine for a second that she’d become the laughing stock of the Internet, bringing to mind comparisons with “Harry Potter” villain Draco Malfoy with her new, platinum blonde hairdo.
The reality star unveiled her new hairstyle (and a new face, pumped to the maximum with Botox and fillers, according to voices online) at the debut of Paris Fashion Week. Shortly afterwards, the Twitterverse was buzzing with speculation on her possible source of inspiration.
Kim Kardashian is doing a robot Draco Malfoy
The conclusion, as you can see from the tweets embedded below, was that Kanye West must have some kind of Draco Malfoy fetish to get Kim to dye her hair white blonde.
From what she’s said in past interviews and the changes visible in her styling since she and Kanye started dating, it’s no secret that he gets to decide everything about her look, from the clothes and accessories, down to the hairstyle and jewelry.
So if Kim went for such a drastic change of look, it wasn’t just Kanye-approved, it was probably Kanye-ordered.
What with the fresh Botox and fillers, the result isn’t as “high fashion” as Kim probably thought it would: as we speak, voices online continue to say that she looks like a robot or dead-eyed Draco, or like some kind of giant, breathing doll.
Why can’t the Internet take Kim Kardashian seriously?
This is the reality star’s biggest problem right now - and has been so for almost 2 years, when she began to project this image of herself as some kind of high-fashion icon.
We obviously can’t provide an answer to that question, but maybe if she stopped trying so hard, people would take her more seriously. But Kim is all about the in-your-face approach, and that prompts more ridicule than anything else.
Again, the tweets below are a clear example of that: the more she tries to appear high-fashion, the more she’s mocked online. Comparisons don’t stop at Draco Malfoy either. This was definitely not the kind of feedback she was expecting.
So how long do you think Kim’s white blonde hair will last?
