The other night, Kim Kardashian got to live every celebrity's worst nightmare, when she was attacked while posing for pictures on the red carpet. She was doused with flour by an unknown woman.

Video of the incident is below.

Kim and her mother, Kris Jenner, can be seen talking to reporters and posing for pictures on the red carpet.

Kim is looking particularly stylish in a pair of black leather pants, a blue top and a high-shouldered black jacket, clearly unaware of what's about to happen.

At one point, a woman runs towards her, throws white powder at her and tries to run away, but she is apprehended by security only a few steps away.

In the meantime, Kim is being led away off the red carpet, into the building, where she's believed to have had a change of clothes brought to her before she returned to the event as scheduled.

Reports in the press claim that the Asian woman who flour-bombed her yelled something like “This is for Kris Humphries!” but, if she did, it's not that clear in the video below.

The assailant was arrested after police officers were summoned on the scene, but she was released afterwards.

Fire fighters also came rushing, not knowing what the white powder might be. They determined shortly that it was flour.

Word has it that Kim won't be pressing charges against the woman.

Shortly after the incident, her sisters took to Twitter to put the assailant on blast, saying this type of behavior should never be condoned.

“Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women. I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!” Kourtney rages.

Khloe agrees: had it been either of them, the assailant wouldn't have dared do what she did.

“I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared tried a thing...,” Khloe tweeted, after saying, “Such a mean thing to do to her. Kim's a sweetheart.”
