Kim Kardashian Flashes Huge $2 Million Engagement Ring on First Outing

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are engaged: after six months of dating, he popped the question to her on a very romantic and surprising date. The other day, the world got a first (proper) look at the ring that cost him a whopping $2 million.

Ever since the engagement announcement, not many details about the sparkler have emerged, saved for two small pictures of it in People magazine and reports of its huge pricetag.

All that changed the other day, when paparazzi caught up with Kim at the airport – and they got a very good look at the bling on her finger, as TooFab reports.

It’s safe to say that this ring is not only among the most expensive baubles in celebrity-dom, but it’s also among the biggest.

“Kim, her giant rock and new fiancé Kris Humphries were photographed together just hours after they broke their engagement news,” the e-zine says.

The two strolled into LAX, but Kim made sure the cameras got a proper look at the ring, by holding her hand up.

“Kardashian looked eager to show off the 20.5 carat ring from Lorraine Schwartz, holding it up for the photogs to see. As for her other jewelry, Kim was also wearing an $85 necklace from her good friend Jonathan Cheban’s JetSet collection,” TooFab notes.

“The two reportedly were heading to Monaco to celebrate and spend time with Kris’ family on a planned vacation,” the e-zine says.

This could be just the beginning of another very successful business venture from the most famous of the Kardashians, Kim.

As we also noted the other day, word has it that she will be making a lot of money off the engagement and the upcoming wedding: $5 million minimum, upwards of $10 million, best case scenario.

Right now, there are countless reports that cameras were present at the Kardashian house when Kris made the “surprise” proposal, which could mean that the move had been planned all along.
