As she found out back when she tried to go blonde, the slightest alteration Kim Kardashian makes on her appearance is bound to make headlines. She's just dyed her hair a lighter shade of brown.

The reality star and businesswoman has a very tight relationship with her fans, which also include her over 12 million followers on Twitter.

It's no wonder then that, before the paparazzi got a hold of her after the change, she revealed her new, lighter 'do on the social networking site.

“New hair! Lighter and loving it!” she wrote, including a link to her official Celebuzz blog page, in which she's rocking chocolate brown hair, instead of her trademark very dark color.

“I dyed my hair yesterday! I’m loving it! New hair color=new beginnings for me. Like it? ” she also writes on the blog.

Useless to say, her fans are loving it, rushing to shower her with praise and compliments though, in all fairness, it takes a very keen eye (or a very big fan) to spot the difference.

With the rest of the world, Kim continues to be at odds, as we also noted on several previous occasions.

She recently tried to talk about the public backlash since her decision to divorce Kris Humphries while co-hosting Live with Kelly! with Kelly Ripa, but she probably only made things worse.

For those not in the know, word online has it that Kim staged her 72-marriage to Humphries and possibly the entire “romance” as well to boost ratings for her reality show and cash in big on endorsement deals.

It's exactly this angle that she tried to play to explain how her marriage was as real as it gets – it just didn't last, sadly.

“If you really think about it, if this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, if the wedding was fake and just for TV,” Kim explained.

“I would have stayed married longer. This was a bad business decision, you know what I mean? So, if you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that,” she added.

Kim insists that the divorce is another kick in the backside from life for being a hopeless romantic who only wanted a fairytale wedding, a husband and perhaps kids by 30.
