The sheriff's website posted a photo of Kim as part of an anti-drug campaign

One particular anti-drug campaign photo is making the rounds on the Internet today and has the power to become viral, as it features one of today's most popular celebrities, Kim Kardashian. In a lame attempt to scare potential drug-users straight, someone with the sheriff's department figured it was a good idea to use Kim's face.

We've all seen those anti-drug campaigns: it's a before and after photo montage of the same person, and in the after shot, the person looks awful, which is pretty much the same thing that happened to Kim's face after it was photoshopped to make it seem like she'd been out in the sun for too long.

The photo in question was posted on the Bradley County Sheriff's Department website and it featured a very odd-looking Kim Kardashian. To the best of our knowledge, Kim has done some shady things in her past (like being Paris Hilton's assistant), but she hasn't done any hard drugs.

She made an adult tape, however, but that's an entirely different discussion. TMZ reported the news and contacted the offending Sheriff's Department. They were given the standard response, that they had no idea Kim's face was used in the photo, and that the campaign was done by an intern who no longer works for them.

Apart from the appalling Photoshop skills of the intern in question, it's good that he or she is no longer with the department, because otherwise, he or she would have had hell to pay. Or maybe this is the department's standard response designed to avoid any conflict and to make sure that no one gets fired in the process.

Kim is known to be very careful about her image, which she markets flawlessly, so there's bound to be a lawsuit in this case. The Bradley County Sheriff must have caught on in the end, because at the moment their site is down.

A visit on bradleysheriff.com will show you that the site is at the moment “under construction,” but rest assured, we still have the photo of Kim's meth face, because on the Internet you can't really erase anything anymore, everything is stored forever.

There has been no official response from the Kardashians at this point, but it will be interesting to see if they are going to pursue legal action over what could easily be considered defamation. But maybe Kim will think twice before going toe-to-toe with the law, because after all, you don't want to upset the police.
