14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner flew to Vienna the other day to attend the prestigious Vienna Opera Ball as guests of eccentric millionaire Richard Lugner. Well, only Kim was his official guest for the Ball, but both reality stars were in attendance and left early because of 2 racist incidents, it has been confirmed.
Word got out yesterday that Kim was particularly offended over 2 separate incidents at the Ball, one which saw a man in blackface come up to her acting as if he was Kanye West, her fiancé, and another one in which a fellow guest said he was itching to get Kim dancing on the song “[N-word]s in Vienna.”
Both these incidents have been confirmed.
The man in blackface has been identified as Chris Stephan, a standup comedian. He’s speaking out on his Facebook page to apologize if anyone was offended by his going to the Ball in blackface, saying he never meant to upset people in any way, let alone Kim Kardashian.
He insists he wasn’t trying to pass for Kanye West or mock him in any way, and adds that he’s of Arab descent himself, so he knows better than to be insensitive to this type of issues.
Meanwhile, the other incident that upset Kim so badly she packed up to leave has also been confirmed. Check out the video below to see the other Ball guest tell the interviewer that he will be dancing with Kim to “[N-word]s in Vienna.”
He’s obviously amused by his joke, which is actually a pun on a famous Kanye West and Jay Z song, set in Paris not Vienna, but Kim is anything but. Reports have it that she stormed out right after this, and took her mother with her too.
Overall, Kim’s fancy stop in Vienna turned out to be a major disaster. Even Lugner was upset about how things turned out, bashing the curvy reality star in the press for not sticking to her end of the bargain. He accused her of bringing a camera crew with her to shoot scenes for her reality show, when that wasn’t part of the initial understanding.
Some years ago, Lugner invited Lindsay Lohan to the Vienna Opera Ball but she never made it because she missed her flight. It is believed that Lohan kept the money she’d been paid in advance for the appearance even though she wasn’t there, and Lugner never said anything negative about her afterwards.
This is just to put things into perspective, to make you understand just how upset he was with Kim when he told the press, “Kim is annoying me. Because she's not sticking to the program.” Ouch.
