2014 hasn't started off on the right foot for media darling Kim Kardashian and it's not all the media's fault. It's partly her fault too for posting some revealing selfies on her Twitter, only to be blasted days later for having them modified to make her seem thinner than she actually is.

The media had a field day with that photo and with another one that reveals one of Kim's darkest secrets: the fact that she hasn't got enough hair on her head and she has to wear a weave.

Now, Kim is speaking out through her spokesperson and denying vehemently the allegations on both accounts: Photoshop and hair weave.

Her rep spoke with E! Online and said that Kim “Did not” photoshop her bum selfie and denied the wig-wearing allegations when prompted by the Daily Mail. The image painted by her PR team would have you believe that Kim's appearance is a result of her good genes, hard work and a healthy life.

Kim came recently to the attention of the press as it was uncovered that a selfie focusing on her plump rump was, in fact, altered to give her a thinner waistline.

The main giveaway was a door frame in the background that seemed to be warping in the region of Kim's derrière, indicating some manipulation.

The other scandal she was involved in this week was over a photo where Kim has her hair pulled up to reveal some rather unsightly bald spots and a pretty obvious weave to cover up her scalp. Specialists said that this massive hair loss was due to her pregnancy and to her rapidly decreasing weight, following her strict diet and exercise.

True or not, one thing is for sure. Kim's good looks require not only a lot of time and money, they also require some help from her PR team. How else is she going to fend off the rumors that she's faking it big time?
