Kim Kardashian reported yesterday that her Twitter and email accounts were hijacked by hackers, although she was able to regain control of them before any were abused.

The American TV celebrity reported on Twitter that she cannot login to her account anymore from her computer and asked for help to recover the password.

"Twitter please help me get my password back! How is it that I can tweet from my cell but my home computer says wrong password! #HACKED," one of her tweets wrote.

Kourtney Kardashian also reported the problems her sister was having and revealed that they extend to her email account too.

"Some stalker freak loser hacked @KimKardashian twitter and email. Its called 911 and its called get a life. So just beware of her tweets," Kourtney advised.

Fortunately, if indeed a hacker compromised the celebrity's email and Twitter, they didn't have the time or interest to abuse them.

That could have been a real problem because Kim Kardashian has close to six-and-a-half million followers. That's a huge pool of potential victims, even if posting a single malicious URL.

It seems that Ms. Kardashian was able to sort out the problem in about two hours, as she returned with an update reading: "ok guys its really me...i'm back! that was sooo annoying! hackers are so lame. like whats the point!"

If her account was compromised, Kim Kardashian would be the latest name on what is already a long list of celebrities that had problems with hackers on Twitter.

Some of them, like Britney Spears, even got their account hacked on multiple occassions. Others affected include Selena Gomez, Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, Chloë Moretz, Lindsay Lohan, Kirstie Allsopp, Axl Rose, Dorion Standberry, Lil' Kim and even Barack Obama.
