Kim Kardashian Admits She Overdoes It on the Makeup

She’s considered a beautiful woman when she’s all glammed up but, in her own words, she’d still be just as beautiful without her makeup. With all this, Kim Kardashian is first to admit she usually overdoes it on the makeup.

One of the jokes often heard in the blogosphere is that Kim and the two other Kardahians, Khloe and Kourtney, are fans of the “tranny makeup,” in that they use too much of it at once.

In a recent interview cited by Radar Online, Kim admits that is the case, but says she sees no harm in it, even if she looks just as good fresh-faced.

It all started, Kim recalls, when her late father Robert Kardashian hired a professional makeup artist to teach his daughters how to apply makeup to always look good in public.

This was his worst mistake, Kim jokes, because they instantly fell in love with it – and, now, can’t even run errands without a full face of makeup.

“We had publicists and people who would tell us, ‘Girls, tone it down. Stop wearing all the makeup’,” Kim says of the reactions she got throughout the years for her excessive use of cosmetics.

“But then we would read on our blogs – like in the comments and everything – and everyone was like, ‘What lipstick is this, what mascara do you use?’ We were like, ‘We love make-up, so why try and be what we’re not?’” she asks.

She and her two sisters, with whom she’s very close, even joke about their love of makeup when they’re alone but, at the end of the day, they don’t see anything wrong with it.

“We joke and say we are like trannies because we love hair and makeup. I don’t think we necessarily need makeup, but we love it,” Khloe chimes in in the same interview.

“But Kim definitely, if you take off what’s on her face, her face is the exact same. She doesn’t need it. It’s just like a mind thing to her,” she adds.
