Kim Does 'Playboy'

Here's something to brighten our day. Hell, here's something to brighten the next two weeks, at least! Kim Kardashian, the socialite/fashion consultant/occasional model turned porn chick Kim Kardashian will appear in a spread in our all time favorite magazine 'Playboy'. I'll drink to that!

Until a couple of months ago, the name of gorgeous and stylish Kim Kardashian was known to only a few and then too because she was Paris Hilton's sidekick. Which is not saying much, by the way, especially as Paris had, back in the day, many so called 'best friends' she liked to parade around town with. But, starting with January this year, Kim has slowly inched her way into the celebrity world. How, you ask? Well, by making a sex tape and having it 'leaked' on the Internet.

I guess I'm just doing small-talk here since everybody heard of 'Kim Kardashian Superstar', that wonderful piece of art she and her former boyfriend Ray J (singer Brandy's brother) did back when they were still dating. Yes, the tape was sold to Vivid Videos, which later on began to distribute it, but not before paying the lioness her fair share of the deal. Since then, Kim is like one of those beautiful recurring dreams that I keep having: she is all over the place, always with a camera nearby and a very eager photographer willing to stop her.

But we are not the kind to believe that just because someone has a sex tape, s/he can be a star. No, perish the thought! Kim also has other assets to distinguish her from the rest of attention seekers out there, like, er... ah... ahem... I give up! Other than for her sex tape and fabulous a*s, Kim is famous for nothing more! But you can't blame me for not trying!

Word in the media is that Kim just finished a shoot for 'Playboy'! Yay, I have lived to see my biggest dream come true! But don't get too excited over this because, if rumors are true, the spread will be a 'sanitized' one, the kind Mariah Carey also did not long ago. Apparently, Kim is now a respectable celebrity and, when contacted by the magazine, she made it clear from the very start that she would only go through with it if she was allowed to keep both her panties AND her bra on! What a bummer!

The spread was apparently shot by the one and only music producer Hype Williams and it will feature in one of the upcoming issues of the magazine. So, if you really want to see what Kim is working with, just stick to the video! Also, I think 'Playboy' is kinda losing it if they didn't manage to convince this fancy vixen to show us her ASSets.
