Kim Cattrall, The Godmother to Britney Spears' Son?

The 49-year-old actress who played raunchy Samantha in "Sex and the City" has befriended Britney Spears while they worked together for "Crossroads".

Kim, who portrayed Britney's mom in the 2002 film directed by Tamra Davis, might play an important role in baby Sean Preston's life.

According to one of the couple's friends, quoted by Britain's News of the World newspaper, "Britney loves Kim and will be asking her to be her godmother."

Meanwhile, Britney has recently signed a lucrative deal to show off her new baby with OK! magazine. The pop princess, who has returned to her Malibu home with her baby son, will release some family photographs.

She is also set to give an interview to the celebrity magazine, for which she is rumored to have been paid $1.5 million.

OK! boss Richard Desmond is thrilled with the new contract. "We've got Britney and the baby this week", Desmond stated.
