Killzone: Shadow Fall, the first-person shooter made for the PS4 by Guerrilla Games, has just received some fresh improvements for its Warzone menu and will soon get a free downloadable map for the multiplayer mode.

The PS4 launched last November alongside quite a few interesting games, including Killzone: Shadow Fall from franchise founder Guerrilla. Since then, the Dutch studio has been working hard to further improve the experience via different and comprehensive patches.

What's more, it's also rolled out different premium and free DLC packs, consisting of new maps, official warzones, as well as classes and equipment, like the Infiltrator.

Now, the studio has confirmed on its blog that quite a few improvements have just been released, while others are set to appear in the following weeks.

According to Guerrilla, thanks to different feedback from the community, the Warzone menu has been overhauled, introducing a new list of official Warzones that rotate at certain periods of time.

"We are introducing a new official Warzone, which will feature fan favorite Warzones rotating on a regular basis. We will be reducing the number of official Warzones to 24 Player Warzone, 24 Player Team Deathmatch, and the rotating Warzone. This week, it is 24 Player Domination," the studio said.

In the second wave of improvements, the user interface of the whole multiplayer mode will be overhauled for a much better experience.

"This sets us up for phase II, which will focus on user interface improvements to the main multiplayer screen, streamlining for the most popular play styles and making it easy for you to get into a game. This way we want to offer our community much more variation when playing Killzone online."

You shouldn't worry about the elimination of other official Warzones, as they'll remain playable but won't be tagged as official, unlike the rotating ones.

Guerrilla isn't messing just with the interface, as it's making changes to weapons like the StA101 Kameraad and the VC30 Sickle, besides already changed items like the Petrusite Grenade. Check out the changes below.

VC30 Sickle

- Increase spread of pellets by 15% - Reduced damage ranges by 50%

StA101 Kameraad

- Reduced standing and crouched hip fire spread by 10% - Reduced maximum moving hip fire spread by 45%

Guerrilla's Steven ter Heide has also posted on Twitter a screenshot from an upcoming free downloadable map for Killzone: Shadow Fall, saying that it will debut in the near future for the first-person shooter on PS4.
