The game probably uses the Killzone: Shadow Fall engine

Guerrilla Cambridge, the developer that created Killzone: Mercenary, is apparently recruiting personnel that it needs in order to complete work on a project for the PlayStation 4 home console.

A senior environment artist ad aims to attract a developer who has experience on recent AAA console games and can deliver quality texturing on the PS4 and the PS3.

A senior graphics programmer is also needed and the announcement says that he will work on a major project that uses an already established rendering engine.

The fact that the studio is linked to the main Guerrilla Games team means that the technology that will be used will probably be the one which is also powering Killzone: Shadow Fall.

It’s unclear whether the company is preparing an original intellectual property or if it is aiming to use a game world that’s already available.
