National Geographic has announced that its brand new take on the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy will air on November 10. At the same time, a first trailer for the film, called simply “Killing Kennedy,” has also been released.

It is embedded below in full.

The trailer doesn’t reveal much in terms of approach of the still-controversial event, but it does include plenty of footage to confirm that actors have at least gotten the physical aspect down.

Rob Lowe stars as Kennedy himself (that’s his voice reading out the President’s final speech in the voiceover), while Ginnifer Goodwin plays wife Jackie.

Will Rothaar stars as Lee Harvey Oswald, while a completely transformed Michelle Trachtenberg will bring his wife, Marina Oswald, back to life on the small screen.

Again, the trailer doesn’t reveal too much but, whatever little bit it does include, it makes incredibly appealing. Will you be tuning in to see it?
