Double Helix plan to add the skeleton warrior later this month

Double Helix, developer of the reboot of classic combo-based fighting game Killer Instinct, has released some new screenshots showing the upcoming character Spinal.

According to the developers, the skeleton warrior will play very differently from other characters in the game so far, and that players playing against Spinal will have to pay attention to all their bars.

Killer Instinct Central informs that buyers of the Ultra Edition of Double Helix's game will get early access to Spinal and his 15 new Achievements.

Developer Double Helix has also announced plans to introduce a penalty for players who rage quit, an issue that the community has been pretty vocal about.

Sadly, the promised introduction of online lobbies will not be out in January, and will be featured in the March update, along with Arcade Mode.

The Killer Instinct reboot has been released in November 2013 as an Xbox One exclusive title, available for free with one playable character, which will be rotated each week.
