14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft is taking its time rolling out Office for iOS customers, but that’s hardly a problem for the Apple user base. Picking the right productivity app isn’t really a daunting task, considering that there are over 700K titles in the App Store.
Many of those titles are on discount today (Black Friday, remember?) including Quickoffice and Quickoffice Pro HD, two separate versions of a highly versatile productivity suite for iPhone and iPad customers.
Quickoffice Pro is probably the next best thing to Microsoft Office on iOS. It offers an intuitive interface for advanced editing of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files and has an integrated file management solution with ties to cloud services like the popular Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net, Huddle and SugarSync.
The apps are on sale today. The iPhone and iPod touch build goes for a meager $0.99 / €089 (down from $14.99 / 13 EUR), and the iPad installment is just $4.99 / €4.49 (down from $19.99 / 18 EUR).
