Kid Rock Sex Tape Distribution Banned

Kid Rock's attorneys have reportedly worked out a deal ending any chance of a sex video he made with Scott Stapp and some groupies of being sold.

The Detroit musician's legal team has come to an agreement in principle with attorneys for World Wide Red Light District, extending the temporary injunction halting any release of the tape or parts of it, Rock’s attorney, William Horton reported.

Paperwork will be filed this week in Detroit federal court making the order permanent.

The tape, shot on a tour bus in 1999, featured Rock and the former Creed frontman engaging in sexual relations with four women. Stapp has claimed the tape was stolen from him and passed along to Red Light District.

Stapp has filed a similar suit in Los Angeles. One of the women in the tape has filed suit as well, charging Stapp and Red Light District with emotional distress and invasion of privacy.

Red Light District President David Joseph called it "one of the best celebrity sex tapes" he had ever seen.
