Kickstarter Success Adds Crafting and Coop to Akaneiro: Demon Hunters

Video game developer Spicy Horse announces that Akaneiro: Demon Hunters has secured its funding via the Kickstarter crowd-funding service, raising a little over 200,000 (148,000 Euro) from fans.

The extra resources means that the team can create a number of new features for Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, including cooperative gameplay for the story side of the game, a new crafting system that will introduce new items to the game, support for Linux, the iOS and Android devices.

American McGee, the chief executive officer at Spicy Horse Games, states, “We spent most of the weekend on the Akaneiro launch and helping push the Kickstarter over the finish line, so we haven't had a chance to work out an exact roadmap yet, that's something we'll be looking at in the next few weeks.”

Spicy Horse will announce in the coming weeks when each of the Kickstarter-funded features will be added to Akaneiro: Demon Hunters.
