Kickstarter is hosting another interesting little project, one that Infinitec made but didn't quite have the funds to turn into a mass-produced device.
The gadget we're talking about is called pocket TV for a very good reason: it's a nice little gizmo that, once plugged into a television set, turns it into a Smart TV.
The only condition is for said TV to have an HDMI input.
Infinitec installed Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on the dongle and even tossed in an IR / Air Remote control (bigger than the actual device itself, ironically enough).
It's even possible to link the dongle to a projector and play presentation from local SD cards or the cloud.
Finally, since Android 4.0 is in play, all sorts of apps can be used as well. Go
here and order one for $110 / 88 Euro if you're interested. Infinitec has already raised the sum it hoped for, so you'll definitely get your order around October.
