14 DAY TRIAL // Could the divorce between Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have been just a big TV stunt to boost the ratings of Keeping Up with the Kardashians? The answer to that question lies in the outcome of their divorce. And, at the moment, it's looking as though these two are getting back together.
Khloe filed for divorce late last year, seemingly with a heavy heart and many people out there felt her pain, but now eyebrows are beginning to curl and raise as more and more insider reports have her returning to Lamar.
Us Weekly is claiming that the two are still very much in touch “They're talking all the time,” he says, adding that “It's not over yet.”
The proof is in the pudding they say, and Khloe's pudding is beginning to show some obvious signs of reconciliation. The most damning piece of evidence is the fact that Khloe's recently purchased home (bought from Justin Bieber who moved his musical tushy to Atlanta) is right now being fitted with a basketball court.
The weird part is that she's not having it built outside, as would be expected, but rather inside, in the basement of her new home, which is a bit odd and sounds as if she's trying to hide something. From the looks of things, she could be smuggling Lamar in her home after dark and letting him practice on her underground court.
And while Khloe happens to be unusually tall and sporting, she was never known as being a basketball player. But her estranged husband just happens to be a professional basketball player who is struggling to get back in the game, as he's recovering from a back injury.
And all this reunion speculation is also being reinforced by Lamar, who has made a beeline from Spain, where he had signed on with a local basketball team, back to America and soon gave an interview in which he gushed about Khloe and how he was going to get her back.
Meanwhile, the older Kardashian, was posting messages on her social media, proclaiming forgiveness, as if sending him an open invitation for a parlay and a possible reunion. So yes, there is enough circumstantial proof to lead us to believe that these two are getting back together.
And that brings us to the questions with which this article was opened. Yes, at this point, it does look as if Lamar and Khloe separated just to amp up the hype on the show and give the Kardashian reality series a little drama.
This begs the question if Kanye is looking at a similar fate, for the sake of ratings and audiences. Probably not, because he was never the man to take orders, especially from TV producers.
