reports that Khloe is planning to file those divorce papers today, and thus end a relationship that became increasingly troubled over the last few months.
The Los Angeles Lakers forward hasn't exactly been the best husband out there, although when he first married Khloe Kardashian back in September 2009, their romance seemed to know no limits. Now it seems that Khloe is going to file for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The divorce proceedings are believed to be short and to the point, since allegedly there is an ironclad prenup between the two, which keeps all their assets separate. And since the couple didn't have any children together, the split will probably be a clean one.
The couple had become estranged ever since the rumors of Lamar's drug abuse hit the media. Adding a final nail to the coffin was a video of a shirtless Lamar, probably high, rapping about how he cheated on his wife Khloe.
From that moment on, the Kardashian reality star was seen around town without her wedding ring, thus cementing the rumors her relation had reached an untimely end.
Evidence to support the divorce scenario can also be seen in Khloe's status updates on Instagram “I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish.”
Previously, she had posted another note in which she gave a philosophical quote about true love and the nature of being human.
"Dear Human: You've got it all wrong," the note read. "You didn't come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you'll return. You came here to learn personal love. Often," Khloe wrote on her Instagram.
Though she wasn't spelling it out loud, she seems to be determined to put this marriage behind her and is probably also declaring in so many words that she's stronger now having come off this emotional roller coaster.
