14 DAY TRIAL // After a brief fling with family friend The Game and Matt Kemp, Khloe Kardashian is said to be dating now rapper French Montana, with whom she was photographed a lot in recent weeks. Reports online say that they’re pretty hot and heavy, but his ex-wife warns Khloe to keep an eye out.
Deen Kharbouch, who was married to the rapper between 2007 and 2012, tells Life & Style magazine that, where he is concerned, “things are not what they seem,” which is why she’s warning Khloe to “be careful.”
As she puts it, Karim Kharbouch (French Montana’s real name) is an ungrateful man who would use any woman to get what he wants: and she offers the example of how he treated her and their child as proof of that.
He forgot he had a family the very moment he became famous, leaving and never looking back.
“He and I worked together to put him where he is. As soon as he popped, it was as if Kruz and I didn’t exist. He practically abandoned us,” she says. Indeed, the rapper pays child support to the tune of $7,000 (€5,047) a month, but Deen stresses that “He was forced to do so; I had to go to court for that.”
Khloe has been telling friends that there is nothing romantic between her and French Montana and that they’re just hanging out, but British tabloid Daily Mail claims to be sitting on video evidence that they’re an item: footage from inside a recording studio party, with Khloe and French Montana engaging in a “show of intense affection,” aka hugging.
Meanwhile, another insider tells Life & Style that Khloe’s family is worried sick that she’s rushing into another romance that will break her heart, like it happened with her ex-husband Lamar Odom, whom she married after a very short courtship and from whom she separated last year, filing the divorce papers right before Christmas.
On the other hand, we’re still seeing reports that Khloe and Lamar are not yet a done deal and that they’re still talking to see if there’s a way they can make their marriage work despite all the bad things that have happened to them.
No official reason for the split has been given in the divorce announcement, but word online is that Lamar had become addicted to drugs and was constantly unfaithful to Khloe. After several attempts to get him to rehab, she gave up on him – and their marriage.
