Khloe Kardashian has always been targeted by some and praised by others for her attitude when it comes to losing weight. In a new interview with Glamour magazine, the star says she’s done with diets for good.
Though she was never the one to starve herself to be stick thin or, even worse, tell others that confidence and self-worth were entirely dependent on the number on the scales, Khloe has struggled with her weight.
At the same time, she has struggled to reconcile the person she knows she is inside with what people kept saying about her, at least as far as weight is concerned.
No more, the reality star says for Glamour magazine.
“A few years ago I lost 30 pounds [13.6 kg], and people still wanted to criticize,” Khloe says for the magazine.
“And honestly, I’m happy with myself if I’m a little heavier. I realized: Why am I trying to conform to someone else’s idea of beauty? I think I’m beautiful either way,” she adds.
She also talks about her husband Lamar Odom and how they keep the romance alive when their own schedules work against them, her new cosmetics line (another Kardashian sisters release), and being constantly in the public eye.
“I’m a little more silly than they are,” Khloe says of her famous siblings Kim and Kourtney.
“I like to do designs on the side of my face, or cut out foil stickers from the crafts store and put them on my forehead. I had always been a nude-lipstick girl, but Kourtney does a pop of color on her lips. I tried it and loved it. You can wear less on your eyes and still look put together,” the reality star adds.
