14 DAY TRIAL // Lamar Odom is having a serious meltdown seeing Khloe Kardashian, who is still legally his wife even though they separated many months ago, going out on dates with rapper French Montana. To make matters even worse, she’s refusing to pick up his calls.
The basketball star did say not long ago that he was determined to make things work in his marriage and, Radar Online claims, he really did keep his promise. When he first heard that Khloe was dating another man, he realized that he stood zero chances to win her back.
The two have been in touch lately to settle matters pertaining to the divorce proceedings but as soon as she got a new man, Khloe cut Lamar off completely. As most men in his situation would feel, Lamar is furious and he’s jealous and he’d like Khloe to stop playing games with him.
Insiders reveal for the e-zine that he’s been “blowing up her phone” with “desperate calls” but she won’t pick up.
“Khloe is out in public with new guys all over them and it is killing Lamar. Yeah, he was totally with other women [first], but he doesn’t want Khloe to shove it in his face that she is moving on. Lamar is jealous and gets mad when she refuses to talk to him,” an insider explains.
He’s also furious that she’s holding up the divorce proceedings by refusing to talk to him, because he’s thinking she’s doing it on purpose: she’s moving on with her life while he’s stuck, half-hoping to get back together, half-begging for the divorce.
“Lamar has been telling people that they don’t have to waste any more time with each other. He wanted to get back with her, he’s been blowing up her phone lately, but since she wants nothing to do with him he’s saying he’s done with her too. He’s making a lot of desperate calls,” another spy says.
As Khloe’s mother and manager Kris Jenner said the other day in a radio interview, Khloe and Lamar are done. Even diehard fans hoping they would still find a way to work through their differences are hoping against all hope right now – even Lamar knows it.
The two, dubbed an unlikely couple from the start, tied the knot very early into the romance, after just a few months of dating. They got a wedding special on TV and, later on, their own reality series, which led to the launch of their own merchandise some time later.
More importantly, Khloe and Lamar were happy and seemed to have found a way of making their marriage work despite the distance, the media attention, the distractions, and the time spent apart. Their divorce was not surprising to many who believed the cheating rumors that preceded it, but it was a very unpleasant surprise for their fans.
