14 DAY TRIAL // Lamar Odom has been saying left and right that he’s willing to finally fight for his marriage to Khloe Kardashian after wasting all the second chances she gave him before she filed for divorce, and it looks like she believes him.
Khloe has agreed to give the marriage another go and will take Lamar back, after weeks of crying and pleading on his part, inside sources tell Radar Online. The news can’t but thrill fans of the couple, who had taken their decision to separate quite badly because they thought the two were made for each other.
“He confessed his feelings and cried his heart out to her on the phone. She’d been avoiding his texts and calls for weeks, but when she heard him pleading with her to take him back, she melted,” one such unnamed tipster tells the celebrity e-zine.
Just the other day, Lamar admitted in an interview that he was determined to make his marriage work and that he would see Khloe to try and convince her that he was a changed man, that he was no longer the man she wanted to be free from when she filed the papers in December.
Since that man was presumably a drug addict and a cheater, though he never publicly admitted to either accusation, it’s safe to assume that Lamar got cleaned up after Khloe turned him out of the house and that he’s also understood why it’s best for him to stay faithful to her.
If she’s really decided to take him back, Khloe isn’t saying a peep to the world just yet. Also yesterday, she did another interview to promote a new fashion collection and, while she did tackle the divorce topic, she didn’t as much as hint that it was on hold.
On the contrary, she said that she was still having a hard time and that she was far from coping with the heartbreak, thanking her family and close friends for being there for her.
“It's definitely not anything I'm through. I'm going through it, but I'm not through it,” the 29-year-old star said. “It's really hard to watch yourself on TV. It's definitely different in that the world has to watch, too. It's definitely not the easiest thing to do, but it's what my life is.”
Before she filed for divorce, Khloe and Lamar had been married for 4 years but the last 2 had been plagued by serious addiction rumors, with insiders saying that his letting it take over his life had driven Khloe apart.
