Khloe Kardashian has been a reality star for more years than some of us would like to count, but that doesn’t mean that the “job” is getting any easier for her, especially now when she’s going through what is rumored to be a pretty nasty divorce from Lamar Odom.

Khloe filed the divorce papers right before Christmas last year and, since then, she’s kept mum on the topic in all interviews with the press. Meanwhile, fans have been treated with an inside look into her crumbling marriage, leading up to her decision to file for divorce, on the E! reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

With this family, this is how things work, in case you didn’t know: nothing is off limits, no matter how embarrassing or painful.

However, for Khloe, seeing her marital problems shown on TV isn’t as easy as she probably thought it would be, she says in a new interview with Australia’s 2Day FM.

“It's definitely not anything I'm through. I'm going through it, but I'm not through it,” the 29-year-old star says. “It's really hard to watch yourself on TV. It's definitely different in that the world has to watch, too. It's definitely not the easiest thing to do, but it's what my life is.”

On the topic of her life, Khloe credits her family and her good friends for being a strong support system in these difficult times. In fact, they’ve always been there for her, which is why she believes she’s managed to stay so ground and not fall into the biggest trap there is in showbiz, that of taking herself too seriously.

Khloe is now promoting a new fashion line, so she’s doing interviews to the right and left to shine the spotlight on it. The other day, she made headlines for another chat with the Australian media, which ended abruptly when she was asked about her niece North West, Kim’s daughter with Kanye West.

She claimed the call dropped, but the network said they were rudely cut off by Khloe’s overzealous publicists, who deemed the topic was a dangerous one.

On the topic of the divorce from Lamar Odom, if he has his say, it might not happen at all: he’s still wearing his wedding ring and he’s just told a glossy that he’s ready to fight for his marriage and that he was still hopeful Khloe would take him back after his many transgressions.
