14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian is now dating rapper Kanye West, and the new romance could end up costing her a lot in the ongoing divorce from Kris Humphries. At least, that's what concerned sister Khloe fears.
The two went public (of sorts) with the romance a few days ago, but it's against what Khloe would have advised Kim to do right now.
She should think first of how a new romance – and a very mediated one, while we're at it – might influence her divorce proceedings, especially since Kris has already shown himself ready to do anything to ruin her reputation, Radar Online reports.
Right now, Khloe thinks Kim would be better off alone, at least until she's officially divorced from Kris, if not actually for longer, a year or so.
“Khloe just wishes that Kim wouldn't get involved with anyone for at least a year. Kim isn't even divorced yet and Khloe is extremely worried that Kris is going to try and attempt to use her new relationship as ammunition to score a bigger settlement,” an insider familiar with the situation says for the e-zine.
Kim has already been through enough, both in the press for her decision to get a divorce only 72 days into the marriage and from Kris' legal representatives, who insist on getting an annulment on the basis of fraud.
The last thing she needs right now is to be put through the same when (or if) her romance with Kanye goes belly up.
“Khloe doesn't want her sister to get hurt again and she is extremely concerned about cheating allegations that have been made against Kanye in the past. Kim is extremely vulnerable, and the last thing she needs is to have her heart broken,” says the spy.
Moreover, hanging out with the rapper right now is not a good idea because Kris will be trying to argument in court that his marriage was a hoax from the get-go, because Kim has been seeing Kanye for far longer than they claim.
Humphries is reportedly set to prove that Kim has been cheating on him and, in doing so, get more money from her.
“Kris absolutely wants to know if Kim spent money on Kanye while he was married to her. If Kim took Kanye out to dinner, bought him any gifts, etc., Kris wants to know how much she spent, if anything at all. Under the law in California, Kris is legally entitled to that money and he deserves it, if it can be proven,” another insider dishes for the same media outlet.
