Come this spring, the good people at home watching MTV on a regular basis will have a new show to keep an eye out for: the network has just renewed the series for another season. A preview of the first episode has also been released.
You can see it below, embedded at the end of the article.
Punk's is coming back on March 19 but, unlike previous seasons, it will have more than one host, thus making it easier for producers to find new stars to pull pranks on.
Each celebrity host will contribute to the prank by inviting the punk'd star into their home, which is exactly what will happen on the first episode, starring Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osbourne and
Khloe Kardashian.
The first two are the pranksters, while Khloe is the one getting Punk'd. As you can see, the show will also feature behind the scenes footage, thus helping you at home with improving your prankster skills.
The footage released as a preview by MTV details the “plot” of the prank: Miley invites Kelly and Khloe over for some girlie time but, of course, Khloe isn't in on what lies ahead.
The three order takeaway and, when the delivery guy arrives, he asks if he can use the bathroom, to which Miley agrees.
“[Khloe] thinks she's going to have girls hangout time and order food. And when the delivery guy shows up, he's going to ask to use my bathroom. He's going to get his [genitals] zipped into the zipper of his pants,” Miley explains for the camera.
And this is exactly what happens, with Khloe left to call 911 and speak to the operator about what's going on – and the communicate it to the delivery guy who's screaming in pain.
MTV promises that this is just one funny prank: bigger, better and funnier are on the way on the brand new season.
“There's a new generation of unsuspecting suckers just waiting to be 'Punk'd' by their famous friends, and fans will once again have a front row seat to see the shock on the faces of their favorite celebs,” Van Toffler President MTVN Music Group, LOGO and Film, said in a statement announcing the revival of the show.
Other hosts besides Cyrus and Osbourne include Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera, Dax Shepard and Justin Bieber.
