Khloe Kardashian, a reality star who launched her career on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was one of the oddest choices ever for a co-host on X Factor. After just one season, she’s been fired.
Insiders familiar with negotiations for the new season are telling the tabs, as cited by
Reality TV Magazine, that Khloe has been let go. However, official word on this is still pending.
“They have asked Mario Lopez to come back (next season), but not Khloe,” says one such spy, hinting that Mario might be hosting the show on his own. As he should have from the start,
some would say.
Whether Khloe returns or not, the new season of Simon Cowell’s show will bring about major changes. First of all, both Britney Spears and L.A. Reid have opted to focus on their careers again instead of signing on for another season.
This leaves just Demi Lovato, Simon and Mario. Word online has it that Simon is working to get Cheryl Cole, his former protégée, to sign on as judge but, admittedly, chances of that happening are slim.
