Last night at the People’s Choice Awards 2011, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” took home one award, but it was Khloe who managed to steal the spotlight on the red carpet, with a brand new ‘do, PopEater points out.

The brunette is a brunette no more: though known for her trademark dark locks, Khloe decided a new year asked for a new look, so she switched to red. And it suits her just fine, word has it.

Of course, this being the Kardashians we’re talking about, Kim had hinted about a new look from Khloe in a pre-awards gala tweet. However, Khloe still managed to surprise everybody with it.

“The 26-year-old reality TV star stepped out with her dark-haired sisters at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California yesterday night with a fiery red new hairstyle,” PopEater writes.

“Kim Kardashian tweeted just hours earlier as she was prepping for the show that Khloe would be debuting a new look. And Khloe managed to steal the spotlight on the blue carpet donning long red locks and a strapless gray gown,” the e-zine says.

While on her own blog Khloe kept mum about the change in look, she did have some wonderful news for her fans as well: she recently announced she and her husband Lamar Odom would be getting their own reality show.

The offer has been on the table ever since they got married, she said, but she and Lamar wanted to enjoy the honeymoon stage for a bit at first without having cameras all up in their face all the time.

The time is right now, though, for them to open their doors to the camera crews – and they have plans on doing so soon.

“Ok dolls, it’s official! Lamar and I will soon begin filming our very own show on E! called ‘Khloe & Lamar.’ It’s been an option since we got married, but we wanted to enjoy our first year in private,” Khloe announced.

“With ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ only a very small part of our life together is shown, but with this show, we’re putting it ALL out there,” the reality star further said in a recent post on her official blog.
