Refresh your presentations

Yesterday, KeynotePro released KeyStation 2, an updated version of its KeyStation theme for Apple's Keynote presentation software. KeyStation 2 features a Web-inspired presenter/kiosk-mode hybrid theme designed to make the user's life a lot easier when creating interactive presentations and Keynote-powered kiosks. OK, great, but what's new in KeyStation 2?

The themes of this updated version have been expanded in the transition to Keynote 3, and the Pro/HD versions feature no less that 58 master slides, including more variations on your favorite layouts from the original, and a range of new layout options designed to make the theme even more flexible. After suffering a throughout retouch process, the entire theme moved to a deeper, richer-hued backing blue with softer contrasting chart fills. The edge overlay of the original changed from stark black to a softer transitional gray, having a crisp edge that pushes the entire center panel forward.

Pushing everything a step further, KeyStation 2HD, only available in the KeyStation 2 Pro Edition, expands the style into HD format with aspect optimized 16:9 and 16:10 versions of the KeyStation 2 design, so people with 20, 23 or even 30" displays will take full advantage of their displays, without having to watch the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display.

The KeyStation 2 themes include a Supplemental Presentation too, a fully interactive demo file that provides an overview of basic KeyStation 2 interactive/kiosk-mode presentation from the start.

All fine so far, but what about the pricing? Things don't look bad at all with the price either, since KeyStation 2 is available for 30$, and it even includes KeyStation 2 HD, with bundle pricing also being available. There's only one requirement - KeyStation 2 needs Apple Keynote 3.0 or later to run, so if you have that, get ready for some fun while working with KeyStation 2!
