Kevin Federline, husband of Britney Spears and an aspiring rapper, has created his own Web
site.
The Web site is probably done primarily in a promotional purpose.
It definitely has a promotional style, containing, for example, a piece of his rapping:
Keep messin' with my family and you're through, says Kevin. This is probably a direct threat to the authors of the numerous tabloid articles about the couple. Britney has sued Us Weekly for $20 million, because the celebrity magazine had published a false story reporting that she and Federline had made a sex tape and the couple was worried about its release.
Also, on Kevin's site we are announced that:
Now that I have your full attention, never judge a book by its cover. And this cliché is followed by,
I'm coming … 2006. Federline's new hip-hop album,
The Truth, is due out in 2006, so he's obviously trying to get a little attention before that.
The 27-year-old former backup dancer adds on the website that he hopes this will provide you with the opportunity
to get to know who I really am. Hopefully for him somebody will be interested in that.
Federline and Spears got married last year and have an infant son, Sean Preston, who was born in September.
Although there have been tabloid reports of conflict, Britney plugs Federline's Web site in a posting on her Web site. Maybe if Federline actually does manage to get some attention he won't remain overshadowed by his wife and they won't permanently be in the attention of the tabloids.
