VH1 tells Kevin Federline to drop 45 pounds in order to star work on his reality show

He was once a top backup dancer who loved to flaunt his perfectly shaped arms in wifebeaters and tight shirts. He was also an aspiring rapper and budding entrepreneur, as fans will remember of Kevin Federline back in the day when he was still married to Britney Spears. One divorce and many pounds later, K-Fed, as he was once called, is being told by the VH1 network he must lose weight fast, as Radar Online has learned.

Talk of K-Fed starting his own reality show has been around for many weeks now. Word has it that it will presumably focus either on life with his new girlfriend, Victoria, and how she’s adjusting to the idea of being a step mother of sorts to Federline’s two children with Spears, or on Kevin tackling and documenting the issue of his weight gain. From what trainer Chris Cormier tells Radar, chances are the show will rather focus on the former.

In order to start shooting for the show, though, K-Fed must first drop some of the weight he’s been carrying around for months – 45 pounds to be more precise. The network (VH1, as it’s usually the one to carry celebrity reality shows) has ordered Federline to get back in shape if he wants to stand a chance to get good ratings, which is why Cormier has been hired as he’s supposed to watch over his diet and supervise his daily workouts.

“I put Kevin on a diet plan that consists of eating 6 meals a day, every three hours. It speeds up your body’s metabolism and you start burning fat fast. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I’m 42.” Cormier tells Radar. As of now, says the same publication, there is little visible difference between how Federline looked a few weeks ago and how he does now. Granted, that’s not to say he will not be attaining his weight-loss goal, or that he’ll disappoint producers, one might as well add.

As noted above, the yet untitled reality show will center on Victoria and Kevin’s daily life, while also including scenes in which his and Spears’ children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, come to visit. No dates have yet been announced for it but, should this have gotten you interested, keep an eye on this space for when they are.
