Kevin Federline Is Having a Baby Girl

Kevin Federline is about to become a daddy again. The former backup dancer and husband of Britney Spears, who is expecting a child with his current girlfriend, has confirmed the pregnancy – and revealed they’re expecting a baby girl.

“We’re having a girl!”Federline gushes to the latest issue of Us Magazine, confirming earlier reports that he and Victoria Prince were about to start their own family.

Victoria, a former volleyball pro turned teacher, is now five months pregnant, and one can easily see why she and Kevin initially wanted to keep their happy news to themselves and out of tabloids.

In the same statement to Us, Kevin also reveals the name of his and Victoria’s bundle of joy, saying they wanted to go for one that would fit both a boy and a girl, just in case.

“[Victoria] said that if we were going to have a little girl, she wanted to name her Jordan. And then, we actually thought that it was a boy, but we stuck with the name Jordan because, you know, it fits both ways,” Federline explains.

“We just found out the other day that we’re having a girl. So it worked out!” he adds, obviously thrilled about the news.

Jordan will be Kevin’s fifth child and his second daughter: he has a daughter and a son with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson, Kori and Kaleb, and two boys with his ex-wife Britney Spears.

Us claims that Preston and Jayden are “superexcited” about becoming big brothers to little Jordan, but Kevin doesn’t say anything along those lines in his statement to the publication.

Us also cites a source close to Britney, who says that the star, now busy promoting her latest album, “Femme Fatale,” is happy for Kevin, and glad to see that he’s moved on with his life and found love again.

“Britney is happy for him. She knows he’s a good dad,” the unnamed spy is quoted as saying.
