Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline has donated his hair to charity. He reportedly gave his locks to an organization that uses real hair to make wigs for children with cancer.
The 28-year-old, who is desperately trying to launch a rap career, is said to hope his gift to "Locks of Love" will help advertise his upcoming album. A source is quoted in Britain's "Daily Star" newspaper as saying: "He supports the cause and hopes it will help promote his new album."
Earlier this month, it was revealed the former dancer is planning to become a stripper if his music career flops. Federline, who has a baby son, Sean Preston, with the pop princess, is prepared to take off his clothes to make a living if his album isn't a success. He said: "If it goes wrong I'll be at your local strip club, but I'll be the one dancing."
His spokesperson Marylin Lopez stated: "He just chopped of 10 inches of his hair for Locks Of Love." "The album comes out at the end of May or early summer. He's expected to do some club dates and eventually he'll come to New York," she added.
