It's hard not to make any connections with the “Taken” franchise when looking at the new “3 Days to Kill” trailer. They both feature aging actors that have taken a turn at action film, they both take place in Europe and they both have a lot of explosions.

Although it's nice to see Kevin Costner return to action film for those that grew up watching “Robin Hood,” “The Bodyguard” or “Wyatt Earp,” you can't help but make the parallel to Liam Neesom's latest action flick “Taken.”

In this trailer, Kevin plays a retired CIA agent who is just looking to spend more time with his family, when he's abruptly pulled back into the game by his scheming chief played by amber Heard. She injects him with a virus, and in order to provide the antidote, she tasks him with a dangerous mission.

The virus allegedly takes 3 days to kill its host, which is why Costner has three days to complete the mission and also why the movie is called “3 Days to Kill.”

As you'd expect, the trailer has lots of explosion, lots of fancy cars, some shots of the Eiffel Tower and a Kevin Costner looking surprisingly good as an international spy. Move over, James Bond!
