Kevin Conroy has confirmed that he is working on an entirely new game set in the Batman universe where he will provide the voice of the protagonist, although he did not offer any other details on his involvement.

A deleted Twitter message from the actor, which was caught by Batman-News, explains the situation and the confusion that he caused during the Dallas Comic Con.

He says, “I am in new Arkham game coming soon, not Arkham Origins coming this fall.”

In Batman: Arkham Origins, the main character is voiced by Roger Craig Smith, who has previous experience with Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed.

Since the announcement was made that a new studio would handle Origins, fans have speculated that another title is being worked on by Rocksteady.

The game is probably being prepared for next-gen consoles and will arrive in 2014.
