The official Twitter account of famous actor Kevin Bacon has been hacked. The attackers have posted a couple of tweets containing links that point to Twitter phishing websites.

“Hey I think I've been hacked! B careful,” Bacon wrote after recovering his account.

He added, “I was hacked tonight but thanks to your suggestions I changed my password to EggsN' and now I think I'm ok.”

Unfortunately, the actor hasn’t removed the tweets posted by the hacker on his account. However, the phishing website has been flagged by URL shortening service bit.do and taken offline.

This isn’t the first time Kevin Bacon’s Twitter account is hacked. Back in January 2012, diet spammers hijacked his account and attempted to lure his followers to a miracle weight loss website.
