14 DAY TRIAL // One of the newest and most popular shows on Fox is “The Following” with Kevin Bacon as lead. The other day, on Twitter, the actor accidentally revealed a major plot twist to his fans and followers, and he’s now apologizing for it.

As for the spoiler Bacon revealed on social media, it didn’t even come straight from him: he simply retweeted what TV producer and director Jodi Gomes wrote.
He still spoiled it for some fans though.
*Spoiler ahead, stop reading* if you haven’t seen the most recent episode, “The Curse,” yet.
“@kevinbacon is a murderer too! Nice twist,” Gomes said.
Attacked by fans from overseas who had not seen the episode yet, Bacon immediately realized his faux-pas and wrote, “To all the fans abroad and late watchers I'm truly sorry I retweeted a spoiler. I just wasn't thinking. Won't happen again. #MyBad.”
