A truck carrying Heinz ketchup has crashed on Interstate 80 near Reno, Nevada, spilling its contents all over the road. According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, the roadway is set to be reopened today.

The alarming sight can be seen in the video posted below, as thousands of bottles of the blood-red product have been spilled.

“I have red everywhere on the highway. [...] No bodies, no people, just ketchup,” Sgt. Janay Sherven with the Nevada Highway Patrol described yesterday.

While nobody was hurt, the accident scene has looked like the set of a slasher movie for more than a day.

According to RGJ, the Nevada Highway Patrol was able to clear the contents of the tractor-trailer off the road by first covering the ketchup in sand.
