Beyonce is going through hell at home as she’s seeing her marriage to Jay Z come apart and there’s not much she can do to save it, but “Scandal” star Kerry Washington thinks she should make things better again by simply walking out on her cheating husband.

Since May this year, when the video below emerged online, showing Beyonce’s sister Solange physically attacking Jay Z while Beyonce simply looked on, rumors about an imminent breakup have intensified.

We seem to have reached a climax the other day, when a very damning Page Six piece claimed that Beyonce and Jay Z’s marriage was over but they were putting off the moment when they’d make it official until their ongoing joint tour was over, on financial considerations.

The US leg of the tour ends in a few days, and they have a couple more dates scheduled for mid-September, in Paris, so the divorce announcement could drop either now or then. However, the consensus online is that it’s coming, no doubt about it.

As speculation on this continues online, Beyonce is acting as if nothing is wrong: she is still posting perfect family photos on social media, still not coming out with a direct denial of the divorce rumors.

She should, Kerry believes, according to Dish Nation. If she doesn’t address the rumors and she stands by her cheating husband, Beyonce is sending the wrong message to all her fans, namely that you should stick with your man no matter how badly he wrongs you.

It’s bad enough that Beyonce “relies on her body and sexual innuendo to sell records,” Kerry has confided in a friend: the world doesn’t need to see her sticking with a cheater too.

“Kerry thinks Beyonce should spend less time shaking her booty and more time pushing other agendas, like the value of education and healthy eating, as well as promoting book reading,” an inside source reveals for the e-zine.

Beyonce would also do better to address the divorce rumors and not “revel” in them for publicity, by encouraging them with her on-stage performances, crying and changing lyrics to old songs. Such a thing is “at best, cheesy, and, at worst, dangerous,” apparently.

And then comes the ultimate shade: “To Kerry, it seems like Beyonce is sending a message to young women that standing by your man, even if he cheats on you, is perfectly acceptable. While Kerry’s peers, like Beyonce, exploit themselves for career advancement, she’s happy to keep her private life under wraps and let her talent do the talking. Kerry wishes Beyonce would do the same.”

Oh burn.
