The game has managed to climb to the top of the best-selling list again

Kerbal Space Program is dominating again the Steam for Linux best-selling charts despite the recent launches, and it seems that it is becoming a fan-favorite on the open source platforms.

Kerbal Space Program is a multi-genre game in which the players have to create their own space project and make a successful launch without killing the astronauts.

What’s more interesting is that the game hasn’t been launched yet and it’s still in the development stages. Steam allows users to purchase a few games of this type to help the developer with any financial problems they might encounter during the development cycle.

Kerbal Space Program is available with a 40% discount, which could explain the sudden rise in popularity, but we’ll have to see if it stays on top of the list after the promotion ends on Monday.
