The developing team behind the space agency sim game Kerbal Space Program has revealed its plans for Update 0.23.

Lead developer Felipe Falanghe said that what the update would bring to the game was not final, as they reserved the ability to change its features at any time.

Currently, it includes 3D mouse support, monopropellant-powered EVAs, secondary propellants for engines, science archives and reviews, plus many more.

The Science archives offer the possibility to review all the date one has accumulated. Through the help of science revisions “transmission logic is being redone.”

Probably one of the most desired features, the Tweakables, allows players to “tweak” certain parts during construction of rockets and space planes.

Therefore, if you “want your wingtip control surfaces to act only as ailerons? Or your landing gear to start deployed or retracted, or to make some of them steerable? Tweakables will allow for all that, plus many other adjustments.”

Moreover, players can now get the lab to the data with the Science Lab Module. This module gives you the possibility to increase the max amount of science you receive from transmitting, “by giving your crews a way to run tests and analyze the experiment results ‘in the field’, before beaming it back home.”

Since we are discussing data, the EVA Data Transport allows gamers to collect and store data not just on from their own experiments, but data from other modules and other Kerbals on EVA as well.

Besides these improvements, the developers promise to fix the “most critical long-standing bugs.” Therefore, players can notice that they are really committed.

Also, know that all of the above improvements are not final, as some additional ones could be added.

At the moment, Kerbal Space Program is in development and can be found on its website as part of Steam's Early Access Program.
