Officials have mentioned Americans and one British citizen being among the terror suspects in this weekend's mall attack in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to Washington Post, the attackers were speaking English as they were addressing shoppers.

Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed describes that “two or three Americans” and “one Brit” have been involved in the terrorist incident.

All the men taking part in the bombing and shooting are Islamist militants. Only one of them was wearing a white turban, but the others had black head scarves on.

Mohamed describes that the American suspect are 18 to 19 years old, and they have been living in the United States. They are either Somali or Arab natives and could possibly be residents of Minnesota.

Gen. Julius Karangi, chief of the Kenya Defense Forces, notes that the group are “clearly a multinational collection from all over the world.”
