14 DAY TRIAL // Lavender or citrus scented candles are overrated, the new trend in scents is brought by Kentucky for Kentucky with a line of unique scented candles that spread the smell of original southern delights in people's homes.
The bizarre candles will make your home smell like southern specials, starting with America's favorite fast-food chain Kentucky's Friend Chicken scent that will leave everyone's mouths watering. The golden fried chicken scent is made from actual fried chicken mixed with natural soy wax and eleven herbs and spices, so it is actually possible to also taste like KFC.
The website's description of the product says “the fresh, fried sizzle of savory golden goodness [will] drift into your hearts and homes with one of our most delectable creations to date.” Kentucky for Kentucky believes that through this collection of scents they are offering customers the uniqueness of the state's aroma.
But the KFC scented candle isn't the only one in the collection; number two Kentucky scent is Ale 8, or the state's signature drink. The ginger citrus flavored soda has been made in Winchester, Kentucky since 1926 and is known as Kentucky's official soft drink. The Ale 8 candle is made “with a secret recipe that includes grapefruit and lime essential oil, [that] will energize any room.”
Last but not least on Kentucky's flavored list is “Derby Actual,” which includes scents of mint julep that resemble the actual smells of Kentucky's famous derby. “This creative collaboration sparked some heavenly aromas that will easily sweep you away to an Old Kentucky home away from home,” the company's website says.
Kentucky lovers from all over the world can now have the state's smell wherever they go, but they have to be quick because just 25 candles of each smell will be available for sale on Friday, November 22, starting with 10:30 am.
