14 DAY TRIAL // If Kendra Wilkinson was thinking of boosting interest in the brand new season of her reality show, Kendra on Top, the one in which she will be airing all her dirty laundry in public and document the aftermath of the cheating scandal involving her husband Hank Baskett, she just gave away the ending.
The former Playboy Bunny was on Extra with AJ Calloway the other day to promote the show, but instead of sticking to the old formula of talking about the marital crisis without actually going into specifics, she breathlessly revealed the ending.
If you watch the video below, you can see she does it almost without realizing, as if she’s sick of having to answer the divorce question over and over again.
When and why did all this start?
A little over 4 months ago, word got out in the press that Hank Baskett has cheated on his then-pregnant wife Kendra with a transgender model he’d picked up online, Ava London. London herself stepped forward to confirm the story and clarify that they didn’t actually sleep together – but some kind of relations were had.
Hank paid for these favors, she alleged, and he also promised her he’d take care of her financially when the relationship moved forward, towards a full-fledged affair. When he found out that the media had caught wind of his trespassing and a story on it was coming out, he tried to buy her silence – hilariously, with money from him and his wife’s joint bank account.
This being the golden age of television, with all the good and bad, when she learned of the scandal, decided that she wanted the blowout documented on camera, for a new season of her show. Her decision led to speculation that she was the one behind the “scandal,” paying London for her story and talking Hank into going along with it, for the ratings.
However, to make sure she played this out, she was supposed to remain vague about the possibility of divorce, thus letting fans know that they must tune in for the series to find out how they worked out their problems.
Kendra isn’t divorcing Hank because she’d be “dumb” to do so
Safe to say, you might as well not tune in for the reality show, because Kendra has given away the ending: she’s not divorcing Hank. In fact, as you can see in the video, she finds the whole idea of divorce quite ridiculous, almost offensive.
“I do believe Hank and I will survive this,” she begins by saying. “I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He's just too amazing... I'd be stupid... I'd be so dumb to divorce him right now and see him with another girl... I mean come on... he treats me like a queen!”
So that should settle it: if Hank really did cheat on Kendra, she’s already forgiven him. In fact, this unsavory moment actually made her appreciate him more, if she really believes she would be “dumb” or “stupid” to end the marriage because of it.
However, as it happens, Kendra’s comment is being interpreted as further evidence that there was no cheating scandal and that the drama was manufactured to get them a new storyline on the show. Otherwise, no one can explain why she’d feel so offended at the divorce question.
