Reality star and former glamor girl Kendra Wilkinson was involved in a car accident over the weekend. She was briefly hospitalized for a check-up and is now recovering at home, it has emerged.

Us Weekly reports that Kendra was taken to the Providence Tarzana Medical Center early on Sunday. The publication doesn’t know when she was sent home, but insists she left the hospital shortly after being admitted.

“A source tells Us that Wilkinson – wife of former NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett III and mom to son Hank Baskett IV, 3 – was ‘in shock’ and ‘really sore’ after the accident,” the celebrity publication writes.

It doesn’t offer any details about the accident or whether anyone else was involved.

“Doctors examined her to determine what the damage was to her body and whether she had broken any bones, but it appears her injuries were not serious,” Us says.

An inside source, someone close to Kendra, confirms this for the magazine, saying, “She was taken in earlier. She was discharged already.”

A publicist for Kendra would not pick up calls for comment so, at the time of writing, this is all we know on the car crash she was supposedly involved in.

Though she’s usually very talkative on her Twitter, especially on matters regarding her personal life, her more recent tweets are about how much fun she’s having when people freak out because she uses the F-word on social media.

They’re dated April 21 so, presumably, they were posted before the accident.

Earlier this month, Kendra ended her short run on ABC’s new reality series, the diving celebrity competition “Splash,” because she was particularly afraid she might injure herself doing one dive.

She apologized to her fans on Twitter for quitting though a “quitter” is the last thing she’d describe herself as.
