14 DAY TRIAL // Hank Baskett was exposed as a cheater and a liar when transgender model Ava London went public with all the details of their April tryst in June. Wife Kendra Wilkinson, who was 8 months pregnant when this happened, hasn’t said a peep on the topic ever since but that doesn’t mean that she’s not considering all her options.
In fact, a source close to the family reveals for Us Weekly, she’s already met with a divorce attorney. The papers have not been filed yet (or else we would have heard it from TMZ), but Kendra is thinking about this next step.
“Kendra has seen a divorce lawyer. She’s definitely serious about filing, but is also reviewing her options before she makes a final decision,” the insider reveals. Meanwhile, Hank is “embarrassed about his actions and wants nothing more than to get Kendra back.”
Unlike her, he’s still wearing his wedding ring. One particular report said that, when he told Kendra what he’d done, she got so furious that she started punching walls and ended up throwing her wedding band and engagement ring in the toilet and flushing them.
Because she never imagined Hank would betray her like this, she’s having a very hard time forgiving him. “Kendra isn't buying [his apology]. She's heartbroken and feels completely betrayed,” the source continues.
Kendra and Hank have been married for 5 years and have 2 children together, with the youngest born in May this year. Hank didn’t exactly cheat on her though, by London’s account, this was what he had in mind when he called her up after seeing her videos on YouTube and falling for her.
London claims Baskett called her and arranged a meeting at her house. They didn’t sleep together but some form of contact did take place, as they mutually pleasured each other. Hank paid for the favor and promised her he would call her soon, the moment he could get away from his wife again.
He did as promised, but when he called, it wasn’t because he wanted to arrange another meeting, but to plead with her not to sell her story to the press. He had found out that one tabloid had discovered what had happened and was going to run the story.
In exchange for her silence, he promised her more money and even that he would provide for her financially in the long run, if she agreed to become his lover “full time.” London said yes.
The transgender model never said why she went public with the story if she promised Hank she wouldn’t, which has generated some talk that this whole thing might be a set up for Kendra and Hank’s reality show which, you guessed it, will include all the drama in episodes from the next season.
