14 DAY TRIAL // It's hard to be convinced that reality television is anything but a big fat lie these days, but God knows that the people involved in such shows are trying to convince us that what we see on TV is actually their real life and not some highly scripted creation from a team of savvy-producers.
Kendra Wilkinson is still trying to convince you that her cheating scandal was real and that it caused her deep sorrows, especially since it took place so soon after she had given birth. She recently did an interview with E!'s Giuliana Rancic and she opened up about the heartbreak.
Kendra wants you to know the cheating scandal was not fake
To fill you in on the background story, her husband, Hank Baskett, was accused of having intimate relations and cheating on Kendra while she was 7 months pregnant with a transgender model by the name of Ava London.
Since then, Kendra had a meltdown on her reality series, Kendra On Top, threatened to divorce him and said that she threw her wedding ring down the toilet. Initially, there seemed to be no reconciliation between the two, but now Kendra seems to have come around, though she claims that she's still mad at Hank, because he suspects that he did something behind her back.
Kendra is trying to disprove the reports that the entire scandal was fabricated in order to boost the ratings of her reality series. This rumor was even confirmed by members of her own family, like her brother and her own mother, who blasted her for selling out for the money and the fame.
Kendra is insulted by people who say the scandal is fake and is done for ratings
To this, Kendra responds that she “wished” the scandal was fabricated and not real, but sadly it really did happen that way. She goes on to add “The most insulting thing is that people think this is fake.”
She can be insulted all she wants, but the fact of the matter is that Kendra did not divorce Hank after the scandal, preferring to keep him around and thus prolong the controversy. It doesn't need mentioning, but since the scandal, the ratings of her show have gone up, obviously.
Kendra adds, “I would never do this to myself, You know, I would never degrade myself like that.” She explains that she hasn't divorced Hank yet because he's a good father and she couldn't prove he had done anything wrong, “Overall he was denying the whole thing. I don't know what to believe. Yes, I'm seriously mad at Hank because I know something happened. I've come very close to divorcing him already.”
